Design Socket with Magnets – Bright Little Things
The Bright Little Things wall socket consists of two components: the electrical insert with a round Solid Surface cover featuring child protection, and a Solid Surface cover plate with integrated magnets. When placed over the cover, the magnetic finishing plate securely pulls itself into position, creating a clean and seamless finish.
The cover plate is equipped with eight strong, milled-in magnets, allowing it to securely click into place over the socket insert (the electrical flush-mounted insert).
The wall socket features a grounding pin, as commonly used in Belgium and France.
Have the electrical insert installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the installation instructions. Always switch off the power supply before carrying out any installation or maintenance work.

Grounding Pin Socket vs. Protective Earth Contact
In the Netherlands, sockets with protective earth contacts are most commonly used. These can be recognised by the two visible grounding clips on either side of the socket (Schuko). In Belgium and France, however, sockets with a grounding pin are the standard.
Functionally, both systems provide the same level of protection: they protect connected devices and safely divert fault current through the earth wire (yellow/green) to the grounding point in the electrical installation.
The main difference is the design of the grounding connection. Standard plugs can be used with a socket featuring a grounding pin.
