Design stopcontact met penaarde – Bright Little Things
Bij Bright Little Things geloven wij dat ook schakelmateriaal mooi mag zijn. Daarom hebben wij ons design stopcontact uitgevoerd met penaarde. Dit systeem biedt niet alleen optimale veiligheid, maar ook een esthetisch voordeel. Het resultaat: een minimalistisch stopcontact dat naadloos past in elk modern interieur.
Ons BLT design stopcontact is uniek in zijn soort. Het combineert moeiteloos met onze exclusieve schakelaars, maar is ook als stand-alone stopcontact een verfijnde blikvanger.
Solid Surface voor een luxe uitstraling
Het afdekraam is vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig Solid Surface en bestaat enkel uit vier ronde openingen en een subtiele verdiepte markering voor de stekker. Deze eenvoud geeft het stopcontact een tijdloze uitstraling. Dankzij dit materiaal laat het zich bovendien perfect integreren in maatwerkoplossingen – bijvoorbeeld in de plint van een keukenaanrecht, zoals in onze samenwerking met Fynez.
Penaarde stopcontact versus randaarde
In Nederland worden vooral stopcontacten met randaarde toegepast, herkenbaar aan de twee zichtbare contactpunten. In België en Frankrijk is juist het penaarde stopcontact de standaard.
Functioneel zijn beide systemen gelijkwaardig: ze beschermen apparaten tegen overspanning en voeren spanning veilig af via de aardedraad (geel/groen) naar een aardpunt in de meterkast. Het verschil zit enkel in de uitvoering, maar alle reguliere stekkers passen probleemloos in een stopcontact met penaarde.

Solid Surface for a Luxurious Look
The cover frame is crafted from high-quality Solid Surface and consists only of four round openings and a subtle recessed marking for the plug. This simplicity gives the socket a timeless appearance. Thanks to this material, it can also be perfectly integrated into custom solutions—for example, in the plinth of a kitchen countertop, as in our collaboration with Fynez.
Grounding Pin Socket versus Protective Earth Contact
In the Netherlands, sockets with protective earth contact are most commonly used, recognizable by their two visible grounding clips. In Belgium and France, however, the grounding pin socket is the standard.
Functionally, both systems are equivalent: they protect devices against power surges and safely divert current via the earth wire (yellow/green) to a grounding point in the fuse box. The only difference lies in the design, but all standard plugs fit effortlessly into a socket with a grounding pin.
